Nicole is extremely excited to be the Tournament Coordinator for the Madison Games.

Nicole grew up in a small town, Chilton, Wisconsin. Now, this Wisconsin native whose older brother and sister named her after St. Nicholas himself, is currently a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying English Language and Linguistics and African Languages and Literature. She works as a House Fellow, or Resident Assistant, in one of the university residence halls. Prior to Pnock Out Pneumonia, Nicole worked as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for the United Way of Dane County and Americorps. She volunteered abroad in Dominican Republic with International Student Volunteers where she helped run and teach a children's summer school program and build a school. She also continued her studies of Yoruba, a West African language, abroad in Nigeria the summer of 2008. Nicole's familiarity with cultures and people strengthen her interactions in the Madison community as she regularly embarks on numerous volunteer opportunities. Although her dodgeball experience reflects memories of more dodging than throwing in grade school, Nicole is tickled to raise awareness about pneumonia and have some fun. She constantly strives to bridge her passions for education and social justice in order to create positive change in society, and is pumped for the progression of the Pnock Out Pneumonia Tournament.

Nicole can be reached by emailing Madison-tournament@best-shot.org.
