Jill Berman is excited to be the Tournament Coordinator for the Philadelphia games and is eager to bring the craze of Philadelphia sports to the dodgeball arena.
Originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, and Kobe Bryant?s alma mater Lower Merion, Jill now studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she studies Health Policy and Consumer Psychology. Outside the classroom, Jill has an extensive history of volunteer work including the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation of America, the Philadelphia District Attorney?s Office Victim/Witness Unit, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters. She cherishes the passion and motivation she feels in participating in organizations that make a difference. To enhance this passion, she studied abroad in the fall of 2009 to study International Health and Development, with an emphasis on child health and global initiatives. In a more corporate setting, in the summer of 2009, Jill interned at IMS Health, a data and consulting firm in the pharmaceutical industry, to assist in the global marketing department. Additionally, Jill plans to travel to Peru this March to volunteer with severely underprivileged street children through Rustic Volunteer. She hopes to apply her business background with her enthusiasm for global health and volunteering through her position as regional coordinator for Pnock out Pneumonia. As an avid sports fan, Jill is excited to match her passion for global health causes with her competitiveness on the dodgeball court. With her enthusiasm and dedication, she hopes to make the Philadelphia Pnock out Pneumonia Dodgeball Tournament the best thing that has happened to Philly since Rocky.
